We strive to provide to provide a safe, fun, and informative place for owners and their pets to bond & learn.
Your support and contributions will enable us to continue to meet our goals and improve conditions for these homeless pets. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
We are super packed! Most of our dogs have to share their kennels with 1 or more other dogs due to the lack of fosters and adopters right now and the constant influx of pets coming into the local shelters.
As of July 2023, we have 17 dogs that we're trying to provide a good life for until they can get their own homes! But we nee your help!

The Off the Chain Facebook page has been compromised and stolen from us! There is a pinned post about French bulldogs needing rehomed...that is a malicious post with a malicious link attached to it. Therefore, every post after March 18th and the Frenchie post should be considered malicious and fraudulant. I'm sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused. Feel free to reach out directly or through our other social media at Instagram @offthechain_pets and on Tiktok @offthechain_pets.
Thank you for your patience while we get this mess sorted out.
Mostly dogs...but we have a cat or two. If you would like to meet our pets that need homes, come to our Petco adoption events that we hold every other Saturday from 1-4pm. Thanks to our partners at the Petco Love Foundation, we are able to gain exposure for our pets in a safe area as well as receiving donations from them every now and then!

July 15th & 29th
August 12th & 26th
September 9th & 23rd
October 7th & 21st
November 4th & 18th
December 2nd & 16th
from 1-4pm, Petco - University Dr., Huntsville, AL
Shelters across the country are filled to capacity! Adoptions and/or Foster parents are desperately needed! But, other than their behavior issues (specifically, nuisance behaviors such as digging or jumping); most shelter dogs are perfectly good dogs and will make the right family whole! But, just like if you were take a kid from the streets and take him to a royal ball; you couldn't expect that poor child to act appropriately or even know what is NOT appropriate. Shelter and Rescue dogs are the same. The pup has to be taught which behaviors are or are not appropriate to partake in.
We want to be able to provide for the owners and pets that need help with training and/or behavior modification. This will help pets stay in their current homes and help the homeless, abandoned, and/or neglected pets receive their forever homes.
We are always prepared for your pets' training needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best care and love. Their happiness and behavior is our priority and we strive to provide the service(s) we would want our own pets to receive.
